EarDoc - Pain Relief and Treatment for Infection Giveaway

http://3kidsandus.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/eardoc2.jpg
What causes Earaches?
Infection can affect the ear canal (otitis externa), the eardrum, or the middle ear (otitis media). Most ear injuries are caused by pressure changes during direct injury (such as a blow to the ear) or sport scuba diving, but, a persistently painful ear may signal an infection that requires treatment.

Middle ear infections, also known as otitis media, are among the most common illnesses of early childhood. Three out of four children have had at least one ear infection by age 3, according to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders.
Although ear infections worry parents and make children uncomfortable, most ear infections clear up on their own within a few days.

Symtoms of Ear Infections: The symptoms of ear infections are ear pain, fullness in the ear, hearing loss, ringing, discharge from the ear, nausea, vomiting and vertigo. Symptoms may follow a respiratory infection such as the common cold. Discharge from the ear canal is often caused by the infection known as swimmer's ear (otitis externa). A painful ear with decreased hearing is often the result of otitis media, an middle ear infection.

Adult Ear Infection:
Though adults are not affected as frequently as children, it is important for adults to be aware of how adult ear infection can affect them. Adult ear infection is caused by infection in the Eustachian tube, near the inner ear. The Eustachian tube connects the inner ear to the nasal passages in order to drain fluid from the ears and equalize pressure between outside and inside of the body, but when fluid or mucous builds up in the Eustachian tube, it is an easy target for infection.

About EarDoc: The EARDOC is an efficient non-invasive device that helps the parents of children to reduces the ear pain by treating the problem rather than the symptom with or without antibiotics. It's very safe to use and so it will not have side effects and drug interactions.
You can use the EARDOC before making an emergency run to the ER.

The EARDOC can be used to help ease the pain due to:

  • Otis Media or swimmers ear
  • Trapped fluids and gases in the middle ear
  • Eustachian Tube Dysfunction
  • Air travel.
  • Ear fullness caused by colds, sinusitis or allergies
How does Eardoc work?
  1. Turn on EARDOC ™ by moving the speed regulator (slider) up. This will start the EARDOC ™ operating.
  2. By moving the Speed regulator (slider) up and down, the strength of the wave frequency can be set - up for stronger and down for low speed till it EARDOC ™ is OFF (closed).
  3. Place the head of the EARDOC ™ at the back of the ear.
  4. Set the Speed regulator (slider) to a comfortable strength.
  5. After use, turn the EARDOC™ off by moving the Speed regulator (slider) down till it is OFF (closed).
  6. Use EARDOC ™ only for treating earaches and only according to the provided instructions.

Win It:

Visit EarDoc and tell me how it'll be useful for your family. Our lucky winner will win EARDOC. The retail value for EarDoc is $55. This contest is open for US and Canada Residents only.

My 3 year old has had multiple ear infections, most of which we didn't even know about it. Last year, he had one that lasted over a month and we're wondering if it had ever even cleared up from the one he'd had in the spring a few months earlier! This would definitely help in our household...

I think every Mom can empathize with the feeling of complete helplessness when your little baby is whimpering and shaking as their little bodies are wraped in pain due to their ear. This would at least give me a feeling of helping to ease the discomfort. Thanks for the giveaway.
